Reference: Garden Wildlife Books

A standard work on the cultural and natural history of hedgerows in the British Isle. This book covers the history of the hedgerow in terms of the British landscape and their ecological importance in relation to the animals and plants associated with them. In common with other books of the New Naturalist series, this is quite an academic work, and will only really appeal to people with a serious interest in native hedgerows.
