The Purple Stripe IThis garden, called the 'Purple Stripe', was my favourite garden at Tatton 2003. Exhibited in the 'back-to-back' section by Macclesfield Borough Council, the garden was a celebration of the spirit and ambience of the borough's parks. The garden featured a stunning meadow strip and some innovative features like planting in a sunken area under a metal walkway. The hoverflies and bees appeared to like the garden as much as I did.
