 Details
The Scotland's Garden Trust (SGT) plans to raise £22million to build the garden from scratch on a 20 hectare (50 acre) site south of Perth. Scottish Enterprises has awarded £3million of this target to SGT; enabling work to begin.

The garden should be completed by 2007, employing more than 100 people and drawing around 700,000 visitors annually. If wildlife gardening techniques do figure highly then it could have a very significant influence on the value of British gardens to native wildlife.
