The 'No Time to Stand and Stare' garden was the favourite of BBC viewers and perhaps the most naturalistic of all the show gardens. But the naturalism trend wasn't confined to overtly naturalistic gardens. Even many of the more formal gardens acknowledged the shift in tastes, often juxtaposing naturalistic planting with modern architectural devices.
