Allan Shepherd's book takes a novel approach to the wildlife gardening genre. Using the tale of the moth collector to describe some of the plants that flower or are scented in the night-time, he highlights the struggle of our native garden wildlife as it tries to adapt to a changing climate. The book is written in two parts: the first part is story-based, while the second is a bit more technical.
