More garden chemicals banned

Paraquat products are among a number of herbicides and pesticides that can not be legally used after September 10th 2005.

Paraquat is one of the most widely used herbicides in the world, but an EC review decided to discontinue its use in Europe because of the serious health affects caused by accidental ingestion of even small amounts. Some of the products affected are listed below:
- Pathclear M10840
- Pathclear M11438
- Weedol M09280
- Weedol M10789
- Do-It-All Path and Patio Weedkiller M10408
- Wilko Path Weedkiller M06976
- Woolworths Path Weedkiller M07456
