As well as a wealth of information for anyone interested in butterflies (particularly in the area of North Wales), this website also contains a lot of useful information of use the wildlife gardener. There is a complete section on gardening for butterflies which includes a list of recommended plants and many tips for getting the most out of them. Both nectar plants for adults and food plants for larvae are considered. You can even purchase plants and seeds - all profits to the North Wales branch of BC where it is ploughed back in to help butterflies.

The site also includes an excellent section on butterfly identification which could help you sort out one or two of those seen less frequently in the garden.
