Landlife is a national organisation which aims to develop new opportunities for wildflowers.
Landlife's work is all about habitat creation. They don't concern themselves so much with the protection of existing wild-flower habitats - that's more the realm of other organisations like the
Wildlife Trusts and
Plantlife. Landlife have developed techniques for creating wild flower habitats which they collectively call
Creative Conservation. They propagate huge quantities of wildflower seeds and seedlings which can be used on large scale habitat recreation schemes. Seeds and plants are also available to the public for personal use and may be bought on-line, by mail order or at the
National Wildflower Centre.
