Public ready to help wildlife
Appeared on Space For Nature on May 24th 2003 Revised 22nd July 2003
A recent Mori survey commissioned by the RHS shows that one in three people believed that bringing wildlife into the garden should be a priority. | | | | Details

Some 70% of the 1,885 people questioned believed that wildlife should be considered when gardens are being created and maintained. However, only half of those questioned believed that they were doing enough. This tends to support the view that given the right encouragement and information, more people would be willing to garden in ways that are more amenable to wildlife.
