Dr Mark Scott is a Principal Lecturer at the University of Bolton in Lancashire but also spends a great deal of time as an active volunteer with Bolton Mountain Rescue. He is a keen birdwatcher (once a twitcher - but he might not admit it) and as a result always keeps an eye out for what's on the feeders in the garden. For ten years he undertook the BTO Breeding Bird Survey on a local 1km square. Mark can be contact at SpaceForNature (see below) or via his
own website.
